Shelter is a luxury knitwear brand founded by Australian designer Livia Arena. Specialising in cashmere, each garment is crafted with care, designed to last, and made to evoke a deep emotional connection between wearer and piece.

With over a decade of industry experience, Livia brings a long-standing commitment to craftsmanship, sustainability, and natural fibres. Previously at the helm of her eponymous label—ethically produced in her own Melbourne factory—she has always placed textile innovation and manufacturing integrity at the centre of her practice. Shelter is a natural evolution of this ethos: a desire to create knitwear that is both technically refined and quietly transformative.

Reflecting the brand’s commitment to continuity over seasonality, garments are named with Roman numerals and reissued in new colourways. Designed between Melbourne and Amsterdam, each palette draws tonal inspiration from the designer’s travel photography. The inaugural collection features tulip tones and soft neutrals, inspired by the Dutch countryside and the flower fields of Holland—captured on Livia’s journeys and woven into the visual narrative.
